Abner King and his family farm 36 acres of rolling green pastures in Southern Lancaster County where they handcraft their oh so creamy and delicious Pequea Valley Yogurt. Always free of antibiotics and hormones, their yogurt and cheeses are named for the Pequea stream that borders their fields and made from the rich milk of grass-fed Jersey cows. Pequea’s Jersey cows don’t produce as much milk as commercial breeds, but their milk is richer. Their cows are never treated with rBst growth hormone.
